FOOTBALL CLUB

Football Club is on Tuesday between 3.20pm and 4.20pm for our year 5 and 6 children. The club runs for two terms with a break in the summer.

The children focus on particular skills each week, with a game ending the session. The aim of the club is to ensure enjoyment of football as well as focusing on the development of football skills and teamwork. We play in the 'Small Schools League' and we have achieved some promising results so far this season. We still have a number of fixtures left to play before we find out where we have come in the league.

No football report can exist without a mention of the 'loyal' fans. These fans can be clearly recognised as dedicated Holly Spring parents who watch their children in rain, snow and sun. In addition, they play one of the most important roles in the club, washing the dirty football kit after the match!
