Emergencies
Very occasionally the school has to close at short notice, in cases of extreme snow conditions, breakdown of the heating system etc. We have arrangements with local radio stations who all broadcast emergency closure announcements. In times of exceptional heavy snow, please listen to:-
Radio 210 (97 or 102.9 MHz VHF) or BBC Radio Berkshire (94.6; 95.4, 104.1 or 106.4 MHz VHF).
Equal Opportunities
Boys and girls have equal access to all aspects of technology and PE/Games activities during the school day.
Extra Curricular Activities
A number of lunchtime or after school activities are available to the children. The range of activities depends on the skills available of the current staff. Clubs are published in the autumn newsletters with additional details provided by letter from the appropriate member of staff. In any given year, music, ICT and sport are well represented.
