Lettings

The school hall and other facilities are available to the public for hire; subject to the charges and conditions laid down by the Governors. Full details are available from the school office.

Library

The school library has an extensive selection of reference books which support research and study of the National Curriculum topics. Other topics inlcude general interests, pastimes & hobbies and wildlife.

Children may borrow up to two books at a time and use them for two weeks. National Geographic wildlife videos are also available.

The library utilises the Dewey Decimal Classification System and books are catalogued using Junior Librarian, a computer-based software system which also logs book traffic. This system is easy enough for pupils to use - they love using the barcode scanner !!

The library also contains fiction books for classroom group reading sessions. There is also a great selection of their favourite authors such as Roald Dahl, Jacqueline Wilson, Dick King-Smith and many more.

The library is presently open for two afternoons and two morning breaks per week, with a view to increasing this in the near future.
