MEET OUR BUDDIES

Every school wants their playground to be a fun, happy and safe place and with the help of our "Buddies" that has been achieved. We have carefully selected some year 6 children who help others and are capable of teaching and encouraging children to play new games. They've had five weeks of training to guide them in their role.
The playground is divided into zones. There will be zones for football, the adventure playground, traditional games, craze of the week and a quiet area. Then there's 'The Buddy Bus Stop'. The bus stop will be a place for children who are lonely or unhappy to meet with a playground buddy and other children. All this will be overseen and supported by Mr. Bailey and Mrs. Croucher one of our lunchtime controllers.
